DCE VM Upgrade v7.8.1 to v7.9.3

Hi All

I am performing a DCE VM Server upgrade for a client from v7.8.1 to v7.9.3. I have followed the correct upgrade procedure however the DCE v7.9.3 cannot see the Backup created by the DCE Server v7.8.1.

Both Servers have the same Mac Address and Hostname (Only one server runs at a time) and they are both running their Backups into the same Share Folder however they can only see the Backup they individually created i.e the Server v7.8.1 only sees its back and the same for v7.9.3 but the Backups are sitting in the same Share Folder.

I ran my backups using NFS and TCP Protocol.

Anyone with any advice on how to resolve this?

Hello,

you cannot upgrade directly to 7.9.3...you must use .ova version 7.9.0 and then update to 7.9.1, 2, 3

Backups from 7.8.1 are compatible only with version 7.9.0
