Hello everyone,
Do you guys know how DCE deals with event and data collection from monitored devices when the communication is lost and re-established?
Specifically what i need to know is if upon re-establishing communication DCE pull´s the data related to the lost period from the device.
The idea is to understand if the system have any kind of survivability on scenarios when the remote links to the monitored devices are lost.
I thank you all in advance.

Hi Rafael,
DCE only pulls data using SNMP or modbus. It pulls only current data and can not pull data logs from devices. If DCE loses communications with a device, it will not log that data. The only place to find that data would then be on the device itself (if applicable).
Thanks,
Steve.
