Hi team,
we have a customer with DCE 7.8.1 and we are trying to send SNMP traps with the Action Alarms method. We have checked this document:
Netbotz | What type of information can I see in a NetBotz SNMP trap? | Schneider Electric USA
We have loaded the Netbotz MIB 410 in the SNMP server receiver. But we do not see the OIDs that the previous link suggested that we should receive: 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.11.x
When we send a treshold alarm we receive a trap with the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.10.1.0 instead of 100.11.x, that are not included in the MIB Netbotz 410:
When we send a device alarm we receive a trap with the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.10.3.0.14 and 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.10.3.0.114 that are not included in the MIB Netbotz 410
Do we have to use another Netbotz Mib version?

Hi @jzurera ,
The document that you referenced refers to the trap parameters. Although the trap is sent with the 5528.100.10 OID, the parameters that reside within that trap come with their own OIDs of 5528.100.11.
You can also see that the traps are listed above 5528.100.11.
Also, if you look at the info in your screenshot, your mib browser has already compiled the trap parameters or "args" into the trap so you don't need to deal with those 5528.100.11 OIDs anyway.
Sorry but I'm having trouble attaching the images so if they don't show, please note that I am continuing to try to add them.
I am also aware that not all of the DCE trap OIDs are in even the latest the 4.1 mib. I have an enhancement request in the system asking for that to be added but in the meantime, please note that the arguments should have all the detail that you need.
Thanks,
Steve

HI Steve,
regarding to the device alarms traps? We receive these OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.10.3.0.14 and 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.10.3.0.114
but we do not see them in the MIB Netbotz 410, is there any other place where we can check these parameters?
In the MIB 410 we have only until OID OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.10.3.0.13 and OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.5528.100.10.3.0.113
Thanks in advance

I will add this post as a reference in that enhancement request.

Hi Steve,
Do you have a ETA for this MIB upgrade? Our customer cannot load the OIDs manually in their systems. They need the MIB that has the right OIDs to integrate DCE.
Thanks

Hi @jzurera ,
If you need this immediately, I recommend that instead of using the alarm action feature, you simply use the NMS integration feature. The trap names are based on the level of severity and that's all in the MIB. the additional information that comes with the trap should be enough to define it.
Please note that this request has been in the system for some time and I have no ETA on when or even if this will be addressed.
Thanks,
Steve
