Hi!

I'm facing some problems with an integration by DCE using SNMP server funcition.

Have we some type of method to know or discovery the OID for each equipment read in DCE?

I had tryied to use SNMP WALK in DCE to see all OID, but I can`t know for who equipment belongs to each OID.

Hi  @silvio.filho ,

The SNMP output of the DCE server does not include device specific information. It only provides some basic Linux based OIDs about the OS. If you want to gather device specific information using SNMP GETs, you must poll the devices directly.

DCE does have the ability to send traps based on alerts seen either on the devices themselves or based on thresholds created in DCE but that is the only way DCE can provide SNMP information about it's devices.
