I am using StruxureWare DCE 7.8.1 and our backup was configured as Windows share on a remote server (Windows Server 2012). However we had to migrate the remote server to Windows Server 2022 (Virtual Server) and since then the backup is not working.
System >> Server Backup / Restore >> Windows share >> Security Setting is NTLM.
Can you please help to fix this issue ?

Hi,
Please have a look at the DCE backup in the link below:
https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA299440/
It could be due to SMBv1 being disabled.
Recommending you to upgrade your DCE to the newer version (7.9.x) , but bear in mind the hardware spec supported.

TJ

Thanks for the response. We have Netbotz 450 in our infra and many other old equips. Upgrading is out of question for now but will check with SMBv1.

Hi @Yatish,
Did you get this resolved?
Try using other Security options Security Setting > NTLMv2 etc

Hi Tafadzwa
I tried different options but did not work. Looks like SMBv1.0 in OS is the issue here and or security team will not allow to enable that.
For now we have managed the issue by configuring NFS instead of Windows share. Thanks for all the help extended by all of you !
