Hi team,
we have an issue with a customer that we cannot access to DCE with the Desktop Client neither Web Client. It seems that the server is not working properly, because in the web client we cannot enter user and passsword, we only see the top menu but a message that says that without connection to the server. With the desktop client we do not receive any response after inserting username and password.
We have rebooted the virtual machine and nothing changed. In the virtual machine console we can access with the apcsetup user and it seems that the configuration menu works.
Any other suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Hi Shaun,
finally we restored a full virtual machine backup from yesterday and it is working again. We do not know what happened...

Hi @jzurera,
I'm struggling to picture the error you're giving - would it be possible to share a screenshot of what you see in the web?
Can we double-check you're using HTTPS? HTTP is not enabled by default any more.
Has the apcsetup configuration been completed? There's a new change in 7.8.0/7.8.1 that we don't have a default user anymore (eg apc/apc) in the web, so one of the last things apcsetup asks you is to create a DCE user - and the web service won't be running until this has been done.
