DCE 7.6.0 Upgrade failed

Package cleanup fails after reboot and DCE hangs afterwards.

After forced reboot, system is still 7.5.0.

Dear Ralph Vloemans,

My simple recommendations:

  1. First, make a full backup of your DCE-7.5.0 server (this is important).
  2. Second, try upgrading to the latest DCE-7.6.0.
  3. If the upgrade fails again, I highly recommend that you deploy a clean installation of DCE-7.5.0 from the DCE restore iso-image.
  4. Then deploy your full backup, which you had to do in the previous steps.
  5. After that, you can repeat the upgrade to the latest DCE-7.6.0. I really think, that then the upgrade will be exactly successful.
