I am trying to setup a AP9631 with SNMPv3 but DCE loses communication with the devices once they are on SNMPv3. The AP9631 is running version 6.4.0 and the DCE is able to connect to it when SNMPv1 is enabled. Are there SNMPv3 settings I am missing to setup on the DCE? Thanks

Hi Rusty,
If you've discovered the AP9361 with SNMP version 1 and are now changing to SNMP version 3, you must make that change using the APC SNMP device configuration options. If you simply log into the device and change the SNMP settings, you will lose comm. There is no way to directly change the SNMP configuration DCE uses to poll the device other than this option or deleting the device and re-adding it via SNMP version 3.
To make sure you're configuring the device correctly through DCE, please use the procedure outlined in this knowledge base document.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steven,
Currently, we upgrated the DCE version from 7.3.1 to 7.4.1 and we have the same issue previously reported.
Before the upgrade, the devices were added via SNMPv3 and when the upgrade finished all devices lossed the comunication.
We deleted the devices and then re-adding one by one, but the error persist.
On the other hand, the DDF file is succesfully transfered via SNMPv1, but through SNMPv3, the device is added as a SNMP device on failure state without DDF.
We appreciate your help.
