Hi community
I'm currently having some issues with my connection between DCO and one of the DCE.
DCO is running on VMware with cluster function.
The questions I have are:
* Do I need additional license if I want to connect more DCE to DCO?
- I have currently one DCE that has no communication with DCO and one DCE with good communication to DCO.
* Is there a special or additional step for adding a DCE that is on a different network?
- On DCO client, I go to System Setup>External System Configuration and then I click on "add server". I choose StruxureWare Data Center Expert and write the IP adress as name and hostname. I write the Username and password and when I press "Test" it says that "the Server appears to be down".
- I'm able to connect to the DCE with DCE client and the webbrowser.
- By the way, I am successfull with the connection between DCO and the DCE that are on the same city/network.
- And I also have confirmed that there's nothing wrong with the network, there's no firewall. Which means there's nothing that are blocking the communication.
- I've used the network before, to get information from he same city the "defective" DCE is on.
* Do I need to Import certificate in client and how do I do that?
- When I choose the option to have Encryption on my port, it says I need to Import cetificate in client. Is this some other way to get these two to communicate with each other?
* Is it possible that there's something wrong with the DCE server after multiple upgrades?
- I've upgraded from DCE 7.2.0 to 7.4.1, using 9 different upgrade versions, one upgrade-version at a time. During the upgrades there were times when it didn't work that well. Sometimes I had to reboot the server manually after waiting additional 15 minutes after the upgrade. If this is the source of the error; How am I suppose to fix it?
When I ping from the two DCEs I get different results.
As you can see, the error seems to be when I tried to ping the DCO VMs with the DCE on the other city (DCE2). At the same time, my computer is also not readable from the DCE2.
