Commissioning ABB ACH580 LON adapter in Ecostruxure

Replaced ABB 550 with 580. Retained old FLON from old VFD to use with new VFD. I can service pin the FLON but otherwise the commission fails. The VFD is through a LON network on a Xenta 913. That was brought into SBO from Vista several years ago. Any ideas for getting this to commission will be appreciated. I have thought about abandoning the 913 and a separate Xenta 302 and install an AS-B-24 to automate two CHW pumps.

Have you added an XIF file for the new device?

I have not. How is that accomplished?

Do you know if it is the same Program ID on the new device as the old one?
If so, you may not need a new XIF file.

You need to have a matching XIF file to make it possible for the system to understand the signals in the device.

Downloads a zipped or compressed file. Two XIF are in the subsequent decompressed folder structure.

Used a "newer" FLON-01. It is on the E-Clipse Bypass.

Found this information in another forum:

9802 in the bypass parameter list to "EXT FBA"
1601 in bypass parameter list to "COMM" for Lon start/stop

In EBO:

Right click AS
Select LonWorks > Import device template...
Browse for XIF files

I did this for both XIF described above

Then LNS in Lon interface in a Lon Folder are the "cards".
Right click desired card that was showing "invalid" red globe.
Select Commission
Service Pin as needed
Down load current configuration to device

Visiting this issue some more. I see in EBO (LonWorks) the SNVTS speed that should be sending to the drive however the drive only runs to the minimum speed defined in drive parameter 30.11 Minimum speed. I see the feedback correctly coming from the drive. I am missing a setting somewhere either in the drive panel, or the E-Clipse bypass or in EBO such as a bind. The drive is currently in auto but not getting a reference speed from EBO. I'm not sure if this is more of an ABB issue or and EBO issue or somewhere in between. It may also be a technician error.
