When I moved my 1500 over to SNMPv3 I no longer have the APC SNMP Configuration option, did I configure the device wrong? I created a user, and am using SHA for authentication and AES for Encryption. I also enabled Access Control for the user on the device. When I go and right click on the device the APC SNMP Configuration options is no longer there.
The device is running v6.4.6
StruxureWare 7.3.1

Brett,
There were changes that were made in NMC 6.4.6 AOS firmware that requires a device definition file to be updated within Data Center Expert. See the following knowledge base for the new DDF that you can add to Data Center Expert using the following steps: DCE Client > Device Menu > SNMP Device Communication Settings > Device Definition Files.
http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA303882/
Once the new DDF is applied, you should see the same options that you previously saw with the APC SNMP Device Configuration which uses FTP or SCP to make changes on the device.
Regards,
Cory

Thanks Cory!
So I ran into another issue. When I clicked APC SNMP Device Configuration it said it couldn't connect to the device. So I removed the device and added it back using SNMPv3. Now it shows that it connects and then loses connection to the device. But I can still added it using v1. To see if it was the AOS firmware I tried moving another UPS to SNMPv3 but it is unable to connect to the device. I discovered it ok, but when I try to retrieve Device Settings it says it is unable to connect to the device. This device was on AOS 6.2.1.
