Hi, I am trying to size the bandwidth required between DCO and DCE. Where DCE is integrated with DCO, DCO will pull all the power, sensor, device information data and perform full alarm syncronization etc using the default settings. What is the bandwidth required for DCO to communicate with a DCE with 4025 nodes?

Hi Lai Yuan,
The bandwidth requirements is naturally dependent on the expected amount of alarms and monitored devices.
For StruxureWare Data Center Expert it is estimated that every alarm will be around 2000 characters in size.
Sensor data has approximately the same size but is transferred more often (depending on the integration configuration).
The alarm and sensor data are bidirectional communicated with the majority of data going to DCO. Furthermore, a catch-up job, that is running on a hourly basis (configurable) this job will poll number of active alarms * 2000 chars.
Hope this helps,
Kind regards
