Backup Fail Notification - DCO 8 / DCE 7.4
Hi Support,
I have upgraded a DCO server from 7.5 to 8 today, and also 2x DCE servers from 7.3.1 to 7.4.
Both DCE servers scan the DCO server status.
I have configured a remote Windows share mount in DCO 8 for backups, which has mounted successfully.
DCO is able to run a backup, the Webmin backup page indicates the backup was successful and the DCO Webmin status page also indicates backup was successful.
The DCO backup file is located in the remote share as expected and is completing normally.
However, both DCE 7.4 servers are triggering an alarm indicating that the last backup has not completed successfully.
I have installed the latest DCO 8 DDF into DCE.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
I'm not sure that we have tested this scenario yet, so I have no clear answer for you at the moment, but I have registered bug report/an investigation case for this.
Thank you
Kind regards

Hi Jef,
The same problem here - after upgrade to DCO 8.0.3 we have the same error message in Data Center Expert. The backup funcion is running fine, latest DDF is used.
Any recommendation?

Hi Winnie,
As far as I know, this should fixed in the latest release of DCO (DCO 8.2), thanks.
Kind regards
