Hello,
I've just noticed that basic email action sends Alert ID guid.
But I don't see a macro to get alert id in custom email action. I've tried ALERTID, and ALERTGUID. nada.
Help, please?

Hi Ivan,
Any macros that are available should be seen in help. You can try other terms as you've done above but if they're not listed, they're probably not going to work.
The only macro that I can see that looks similar is ${EVENTID}:
The unique 16 character identifier shared by all messages generated as a result of a single alert notification event. For example, if an appliance generates an alert notification when the internal temperature sensor threshold is exceeded, and then generates a "return to normal" message when the temperature drops below the high threshold, both of these messages will have the same Event ID number. However, if the temperature rises again and a second threshold exceeded alert is generated, the second alert will have a new Event ID.
but I don't think this is exactly what you want either (I haven't tested at this point). Is there a specific reason you need this value in a macro? Are you somehow checking this value against something else?

Hi Steve,
I'm writing an integration of DCE into our internal tools. So I'm using the API, and custom short message email. There's is a bunch of undocumented goodness with this product. So It would make it easier if I could get the AlertID into the sms. Otherwise I have to re-tool this a bit. I'm already using EventID in there.
