Hello,
I have a problem with the APC NetBotz 750.
Im connected directly to the NetBotz via lan cable. The connection to the gui is really bad and it disconnects every fifth ping. When I change the settings of the adapter from 1 GIG to 100 GIG it works perfectly fine and the ping doesnt break up. Its the same with direct connect and even with another notebook. Is 1 GIG not supported?
Another problem is that the NezBotz disconnects the camera sensor which is connected via wlan.
All of the sensores are keep getting lost over the day and need to be new discovered.
The newest firmware is already installed (V. 5.4).
Can someone explain please?

Hello @NMMS,
I would recommend reaching out to technical support on this matter. They likely will gather some advanced log files and see if there is anything going on with the NetBotz appliance that is affecting your sensors. You can also discuss with them your issues with using a 1GB network connection.
Kind Regards,
Cory

I'm seeing the same issues. configure switchport to 100mb/full, and no issues, but 1gb has issues with ping and connectivity.

OMG, yes! I had the same issue. I couldn't even update the firmware because the connection to the UI kept dropping. I also noticed frequent ping drops. I forced the speed to 100 Mbps, which stopped the ping drops and allowed me to upgrade the device. It seems like APC doesn't always ensure the networking side of their products is as solid as the power side. I had to upgrade this device because the self-signed certificate they use isn't valid with new browsers. It's likely that this speed issue and ping drops are related to the current OS version (5.3.4.52). I'm upgrading my NetBotz to 5.4, but I need to go to 5.3.5 before I can upgrade to 5.4. Version 5.4 fixes the certificate issue.
