Hi All!
We need to use smtp authentication for email notifications from UPS with AP9619 NMC installed.
Is there any firmware version for NMC 1 cards with SMTP authentication support?

Hi Valentin,
Sorry but no. The AP9617/18/19 cards most recent firmware in most cases such as a Smart-UPS is 3.7.x. These do not have the option for e-mail authentication. The cards themselves are limited in the amount of available resources so I do not believe this will ever be an option on these older cards. If you need the card itself to offer this feature, you need to look into the newer NMC2 cards AP9630 / 31.
The only other option would be some sort of mail forwarding where you send to a server that does not require authentication (but can itself authenticate) and have that server in turn forward to the server that does require authentication.

Dear Valentin,
In addition to Steve's answer, you can also think of Struxureware Data Center Expert software if you have multiple NMC1 devices. You can add AP9619 devices to DCE software, and configure DCE to send an email when the alarm occurs in the NMC1 devices. DCE supports SMTP authentication.
I hope this helps.
