Dear All,
We have a working connection between AP8853 for about a month and there's no issue getting data from AP8853 into DCE.
However, after a session where other end-user mistakenly connect the network cable into the sensor input port, we are not able to ping or connect to the rack PDU after we plug back to the network port. We checked the IP was the same IP as it is, and network LED was showing normal.
The rack PDU is connected directly to APC switch (unmanaged) and APC switch was later connected to end user managed switch. Other RPDU or devices connected to the same APC switch has no issue.
Any ideas to resolved?

Dear Law TJ,
First, you need to check the ethernet port in the APC switch (I hope you have already done this). Since the APC switch ethernet port was mistakenly connected to the rPDU Temp/Humidity sensor port (from which DC power is supplied to the external sensor), the APC switch ethernet port could fail.
Secondly, you need to reboot the rPDU. There is a short video how to just reboot rPDU 2G:
In addition, in the Metered Rack Power Distribution Unit (AP88XX) User Guide can be read about the different combinations of pressing the Reset button.
Third, if it still fails to restore rPDU functionality, you have two options. The first option is to completely replace a faulty rPDU. The second option is to replace only the display module (may be more preferable), which in your case could fail.
Officially, =SE= recommends completely turn off the rPDU before replacing the display module. This is clearly stated in the instructions Rack Power Distribution Unit Display Module Installation and in the video:
Hope this helps you.
With respect.

Hi spezialist,
Found the root cause, it was the cable issue...
