Hi:
I used DCE to monitor APC outlet switch PDU and other third party PDU ( I write a DDF for it ), I found that APC PDU is with outlet control menu when right-click on it, but third party PDU is not. but I can see DCE know the third party PDU's switch outlet number and meter outlet number, and also get correct status for each outlet. but there is no outlet control menu when right-click on it. I guess this is done by DDF, who can tell me how to make third party PDU have outlet switch function ?

Hello,
For this to potentially work, you will need to load a DDF (created by us) into DCE for this function. I would recommend working with our multivendorsupport team to create this outlet function for your 3rd party PDU. You can email multivendor at multivendorsupport@apcc.com. and they will hopefully be able to create a DDF to enable this feature. They have created DDF's for 3rd party PDU's to incorporate this feature in the past. As long as the outlets can be individually controlled using SNMP, I don't see a problem.
Regards,
B
