Struxureware DCO Rack wise Report

Is it possible to have a Report generated from within DCO which is Grouped on Per Rack basis. It should show Rack and then all assets per Rack and then second Rack and vice versa. Any way to achieve the same from DCO without Insight?

Hi Vineet,

There are a couple of ways to do that without insight:

1. The Inventory report lists all the rack mount equipment by rack - Note that PDUs are listed separately. If the report contains the data you need you can run it, export to excel and post process the data there as needed.
   
   
2. Another approach would be to add the "Rack" column to the equipment browser and then click that column to sort by rack - Export to excel, this will allow you to use the equipment browser to pick the data points that you want for each asset.
   
   
3. A more advanced solution could be to use the ETL export database combined with your reporting tool of choice to build a report that can be run when needed

All of the above options can work - But the ideal solution is most likely to use Insight to build a custom report so that the report becomes available from inside DCO.
