How to increase StruxureWare Portal / Liferay memory allocation pool

If there is enough Memory/RAM available, then you might want to assign more to Liferay memory allocation pool, that may increase the server performance.

Here is how to do:

go to C: \ Program Files\ StruxureWare Portal \ tomcat-* \ bin

and edit the following files:

"setenv.bat" and "setenv.sh"

and then increase the following numbers:

 “-Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m”

example:

“-Xmx4096m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m”
