DCE add NetBotz 250 sensor to sub folder in map view
I would like to add a dry contact sensor to the map. The NetBotz 250A device is in the sub level 1 folder. I would like to add specific dry contact sensors from SUB 1 level folder NetBotz device, to SUB 2 level folder MAP view.
The older DCE with NetBotz 570 we can do that. With DCE 8.2 and NetBotz 250A sensor I can’t make this kind of structure.
I do not believe that it is possible to do that with the newer NetBotz as DCE sees them as a single device as the integration of sensors values to them is now SNMP instead of a custom protocol. With the older NetBotz each pod showed as a "sub device" under the main appliance and allowed you to assign them to different folders in certain areas.
I'll submit a feature request on your behalf to product management for the ability to add sensor values to any map view from any device. I can not provide when or if this may be implemented in the future.
