What is the configuration setup for DCE trying to download firmware from updates.apc.com. What ports need to be enabled for this functionality to work?

Hi Hiren,
For your reference, all the ports that Central needs to operate are listed on KBase FA158328. The link below is to access this KBase:
http://www.apc.com/site/support/index.cfm/faq/
You need to allow traffic to updates.apc.com.
Updates.apc.com uses port HTTPS.
If you are having problems contacting the APC Update server. I would check the proxy/firewall settings (make specific exceptions in their firewall for updates.apc.com). There is also the possibility of running a packet capture on the network to see what is happening.
There is also another option if you are unavailable to access the Internet for the updates. There is a firmware catalog file that can be uploaded locally to the server itself. The link to this firmware catalog is below (SKU number SFISXCFC50): (The latest catalog was uploaded on the 17th September)
Regards,
B
