APV9601 unable to show hostname in Data Center Expert
I has installed APV9601 management card in APC Easy UPS 1000 KVA, and configured with IP Adress and Hostname, however in Data Center Expert monitoring system, it only show IP Adress, and cannot change or show hostname.
Data Center Expert does not use the hostname that is defined in any fields within the devices configuration. DCE will reach out to the defined DNS server that it is setup with in its network settings to do a lookup of the device IP address and resolve it to a hostname.
