webgate installtion issue

Greetings,

This is always an issue – installing the webgate interface for a browser. Are there detailed installation procedures I can review?

• On one PC – IE (or Edge) indicates that java is not installed. But it is.
• On another PC – IE (or Edge) indicates that the active X addin is not installed. But it is.
• On another PC – the HMI appears, but all the variables are blank.
• HMI has been configured for remote access.
  • Using Vijeo 6.2 Sp 12

Is there an alternate method perhaps?

I need a solution for our field support team.
