Hi. I have some troubles with Virtual ViewX. When I try to log in with my ViewX account, I get message about invalid username/password. I'm sure that my username password is correct (I used it just a second ago in ViewX).
I have Virtual ViewX Server isntalled on the same machine with GeoSCADA Server.

Can you confirm the format of the username you're using when you successfully log into ViewX, i.e.
* username
* domain\username
* username@domain
If it is the latter then it will confuse VVx, as the @ means logging into the "domain" system as "username" (or the other way around, I can't remember right now), but it works in ViewX.
There was also an early bug (fixed mid last year) whereby only Node A was used for authentication, so if that is offline you couldn't log in irrelevant what Nodes B, C and D were doing.
Beyond that, what errors do you get in the event journal? Any clues there (for example an error message, but also missing events from the time may suggest that VVx can't connect to the servers)

Username format - just username. No domains or anything.
I have VV server installed on node A and I try to connect to VV on localhost (maybe it's an issue, but I saw this works in demonstration video).
And, yes, there is no errors in event journal. But why it's not connected? I configured connection (and I use it in ViewX). I also tried to configure anoter connection, but it didn't work either

Whilst it isn't recommended the run on the same box as the server (security and performance reasons) it will work. We have demo servers that do this.
You may need to look at DB logs and client-side logs.
My current guess is you don't have any licences available. Assuming the server it is on is licensed then you need to also make sure that the client licences are set up correctly too. On the server go to Configure Connections -> Licence and make sure that is set to the licence file or that it shows the dongle if using that. If the Geo SCADA Licence Server service is not running you will also need to start that.

What authentication are you using? (i.e. built-in, or External Authentication)
And if External Authentication, which method (LogonUser / LDAPS)?
You may need to get ViewX / server logs and report via Tech Support (if you haven't already).

I couldn't find anything in DB Lods related to Virtual ViewX and VV's is just "server started / stopped".
All licenses are OK but, in VV License Manager, in Activity section there is no servers active.

I'm using build-in authentication.
I would be glad to ask TechSup for help but for some reason SE Russia just cannot provide it, for some reason (for an entire year, at this moment)

Make Sure that you are not using the Super User credentials because they don't work when you are using Virtual ViewX even when its on the Server machine

No, i used accounts created in ViewX. At this moment I'm pretty sure that VV just not connected to GeoSCADA Sevrer, but can't figure out why

That activity display is a little interesting. I would have interpreted that as being the VirtualViewX Server / Client aspect, and not Geo SCADA Expert related at all.
So that licence view showing 0 servers is a little surprising. But you say that you do get a logon prompt displayed... which suggests that you do indeed have a Virtual ViewX server working somewhere.
Perhaps you could post a screenshot of the error message in Virtual ViewX? There might be something in it that shows other problems.. (consider security around username/password however... ideally you'd show us a username which contains equivalent letters/symbols etc etc to what you're using in the real world.. I believe there have been challenges with the multi-lingual character sets in much earlier versions of ClearSCADA..)

Error message just shows that username/password is invalid (and I swear to god it's correct). And we try to avoid using cyrillic symbols in usernames, passowrs, installation paths, etc.

Check the DB log, that error message suggests that it should be getting to the server.
Do you have whitelisting enabled maybe, and the VVX server hasn't been added to the list?
