ViewX Options for multiple client workstations

Hi All,

We have a GeoSCADA architecture with multiple thin clients running ViewX. We have non-default options for the ViewX and this is to be applied to all thin clients. Options include :  Home Page and Guest User features etc, Alarm Banner Columns.

Currently I am going to each thin client and updating the settings via File->Options. For the alarm banner columns, im right-clicking on the alarm banner and adjusting order and width as required. 

Is there a way to set this up such that a single config file can be used and copied to all thin Clients and viewX points to this file and uses the settings?Any reference material will be much appreciated.

Is "Startup Configuration File" an alternative?

The two .dat files in

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA

Are portable - copy them to the directory for each user on each machine or deploy them with group policy.

Note: location will change in GS2023.

Yes, they will move from:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA

to

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA

in the next major release.
