TooltipText Not always working.

Is there a way to get the TooltipText to work every time, like the window tabs in ViewX mouse over text works every time. The TooltipText animation expression on objects is working maybe half the time. Sometimes I have to click elsewhere and come back or wait just a second or move the mouse again just a bit while still over the object.

Also, the last entered TooltipText Expression is stuck on the object. If I set it to a new string it works but if I clear the Expression it still shows the last one it had.

Re: TooltipText Not always working.

a. Tooltips do indeed have a few reliability issues.  It's been raised with Tech Support, and has been investigated a little bit.

If you have a particular example it would be worth you submitting reproducible test information to Schneider Tech Support to allow them to investigate further.

b. If you are selecting 'Clear' on the Expression, then this isn't doing what you think it's doing.  If you have an empty Expression, this is the same as not passing a 'new' value to the Property.  So it will still hold whatever value it had last.  If you want to remove the Tooltip display then you should pass in an empty string i.e. '' (2x single quotes.. no content)
