It would be beneficial if there was a mechanism within Geo SCADA Expert to determine all references which occur below a group i.e. could all object references be displayed for a particular top-level group folder to avoid checking each object on an individual basis?

It is notoriously difficult when refurbishing a new site or object to ensure all references have been updated to other mimics and logic. Every object has to have its references displayed manually and this can be very tiresome for the larger sites such as water treatment works etc.

We know that if a user attempts to delete a site folder the system will warn that the following references will be broken. My question is whether something similar in terms of functionality can be provided without having to take the risk of selecting delete?

One way of achieving this is to use the Geo SCADA Client API. You can use a simple Python script.

Just install Python (3.8) and its .net module.

e.g: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.8.10/python-3.8.10-amd64.exe

Then on the command prompt: pip install pythonnet
