Is there an Acknowledge All option for the Alarm List? The user account has the Select Multiple Alarms set and the manual says you can with this setting but it's not working.
"Select this check box to allow the user of the account to select more than one alarm simultaneously (in the Alarm Banner or Alarms List)."
Another sections tells you to use the CTRL button but it's not working.
"Your User Account may be configured to allow you to Select Multiple Alarms. If so, you will be able to acknowledge more than one alarm at a time by holding down the CTRL button while you select each alarm."
I'm guessing there is an inherited setting overriding it but I can't find it. In Server Configuration maybe? Nothing in the Alarms section.
The user is in the Administrator group:

So you're not able to select multiple alarms in the alarm banner?
If you click in the Alarm Banner, and then press CTRL-A, what happens?

Can't use CTRL button to select each alarm and CTRL-A also no work. Should it? It doesn’t work in expressions either. ClearSCADA don’t seem to be a fan of the keyboard and shortcuts. The manual just says the CTRL button. I’m guessing key, not a menu button or something? I did find that you can left click an alarm and then the 'A' key even though it's not underscored but an Ack All would be nice.
I can disable the ability of the user to see the alarm list at all but something seems to be overriding the Select Multiple Alarms.

Yes, if you have the relevant permissions on that system, then CTRL-A in the Alarm Banner should indeed select all alarms.
Likewise if you hold CTRL, then clicking each Alarm within the Alarm Banner will toggle its selected state. With multiple alarms selected you can right-click on any selected alarm and bulk acknowledge them all.
You should provide screenshots that show the relevant settings from your User object which show the appropriate settings, e.g. 'Allow Group Alarm Operations', 'Select Multiple Alarms'.
I really don't get what you mean with this...
It doesn’t work in expressions either.
selecting multiple alarms isn't really what you do from expressions.
Have you checked that your CTRL key actually works? In a different application under the same environment as ViewX.

The Allow Group Alarm Operations and Select Multiple Alarms are both set.
"I really don't get what you mean with this...

There are a number of places in ClearSCADA that CTRL-A don't work. It (CTRL-A) works in Notepad on the same VM and in most tag fields but not animation expressions or the text properties tab and so on. It works in the script edit page though. Don't know why it's so random.

I think I might have raised the CTRL-A in the Expression field as a bug already. But it would be worth you raising it with your Tech Support contact also. It helps boost them up the priority queue.
On the Alarm situation, I'd recommend creating a new User from scratch, configure the appropriate tick boxes manually (i.e. without copy-pasting the existing user), and confirm if it's still a problem. If it is, then try the same thing on a different ViewX client.
If that's still a problem, then I'd report it to Tech Support.
CTRL-A and CTRL-click both work for me in GeoSCADA 2019 June 2020 update (and all recent previous releases).
So you've either uncovered a sneaky bug, or you've got a misconfiguration somewhere.

The super use is active, should it be able to? This one also don't work.
The account I've been using is new but was copied.
I made a new test account.
Allow Group Alarm Operations already set.
Select Multiple Alarms already set.
Added all the configuration options.
I used the edit security on the new account and unchecked Inherit Permissions and added the test account and used the select all button. But it says access denied, you don't have permission to browse the control system.

I add the Test account to the Administrators group that has all but the History security items checked and it can log in to the application now but still cannot select more than one alarm.
This is the Alarm List embedded on their overview screen and I guess it behaves differently that the one built into the ViewX window. I don’t see a setting in its properties to Select Multiple Alarms.
I only saw this after logging in as the new Test account. With the other logins there is an empty messages box at the bottom of the screen and no alarm list. Not sure how they got rid of it as it has no X to close like the messages window.
Anyway, I’m guessing the embedded don’t support the Select Multiple Alarms option.

I'd suggest that you raise it with your local Tech Support, document why it should work, and how it doesn't.
