[Imported] ClearSCADA Database Error
>>Message imported from previous forum - Category:ClearSCADA Software<< User: florian, originally posted: 2018-10-25 15:59:38 Id:231 This is a re-posting from the obsoleted (October 2018) "Schneider Electric Telemetry & SCADA" forum.

**_Sharil:_** **_Hii,_**
**_I am using Triple Redundant ClearSCADA 2010 R1._**
**_Each Server is working fine separately as Main._**
**_When I network the system the standby start synchronising and crashes the whole SCADA with an error in the Main(DB Server has stopped working)._**
**_Tried deleting the recent event journal files and the system works for 2 days and again the same error comes back._**
--------------------
AWoodland: You're using a version of ClearSCADA that is eight years old, there may well be a bug (in many possible components, not just ClearSCADA) that is causing issues.
Have you considered upgrading to a supported version? That way if your problem continues you can get support from the support channels.
----------------------
**_Sharil:_** **_Thanks ADAM for the reply._**
**_We had proposed for the upgraded but the Client is no mood to change it._**
**_The system has been been running for the past 8yrs without much complaints. The problem started on 30th March 2018. Is there any tool to check the database files._**
-------------------------
sbeadle: I'm assuming the customer is not paying for licensed support?
I suggest you examine the dbserver.log files for clues. Maybe there is a disk fault?
--------------------
AWoodland: Disk is a good possibility, also given each running on their own is 'ok' maybe a new device on the network, like a NIPS or firewall, is causing problems.
