Hi guys
Does anyone has any input as to how to program Clear Scada to open as a guest when opened
I saw some info on it but I think that deals more with which screens will be opened on a multi monitor system.
ps Clear scada works but users have to log on then log off for it to work as a guest.

Did you go into File Options set the home page and then edit the Features of the guest user and select Display Home Page at logon. This has to be set on every Client computer and for each windows user that logs in and runs ViewX on each computer. In a domain setting I believe you can find the dat files ViewX uses and have those loaded when the user logs into windows.

Does anyone have a few notes to add as to how to do this - reg settings, set up files etc?

The File Options is sadly still a binary .dat file, best way is to create one for your system, store it somewhere and copy as required, maybe a bat file which copies the file and starts ViewX rather than directly starting ViewX
