GIS Map Marker

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to use an image marker within the GIS instead of the 4 available?

From Geo SCADA 2022 (85) you can add a text item to each marker, and optionally display it instead of the marker - perhaps using an Emoji. You can also customise marker and text size. See the release notes for Geo SCADA 2022.

I know this thread is over a year old at this point, but I thought I would add my voice to the desire for custom Map Markers.

The MARKERTEXT options certainly unlock a lot of functionality, but I would love to have the ability to create a create a mimic with 2 layers (for foreground vs. background) and let me create a Map Marker database object that points at a Mimic object and becomes a valid MARKERSHAPE for use on a Map Set.

Alternatively, the Map Marker database object could accept an image source file containing layers (PSD, Krita, Inkscape) and Layer 0 would be colored As "Background" and Layer 1 would be colored/blinked As "Foreground".

An additional consideration with this would be to have the ability to Rotate the Map Marker for asymmetrical shapes like most "Valve with actuator" images.
