Hi,
I created a report on the design side of the crystal report. When I preview the report I created, it shows the data for the time period I selected. Below are my settings.
Selected date range 01 February 2023 - 20 February 2023
The time interval shown when pressing the preview button = 01 February 2023 - 20 February 2023
Now I will open my report by generating the Report in Geoscada. I still choose the same time zone.
When I press the report screen and button, it contains 1 day before the time interval I selected and shows it like this.So the time range it shows = 31 January 2023 - 20 February 2023 . Why when I view the report in Geo Scada it starts 1 day before the selected date. Can you help me?

This might be a time zone issue. Time Zone Support in Geo SCADA Expert
The client PC where you request the report generation has a time zone which is used when entering dates and times such as the range parameter to the report. These dates will be converted to UTC when ViewX passes them to the server to generate the report. You've not said what time zone your system is in, but if it is CET (UTC+01:00) then this would give a range of 31-JAN-2023 23:00:00 UTC to 19-FEB-2023 23:00:00 UTC.
The server that generates the report also has a time zone (which may be different to the client PC's time zone).
The ODBC data source used to generate the report has a time zone setting called "Local Time", see Define whether Geo SCADA Expert Converts Time Stamps to Local Time which affects how dates/times are handled in queries.
It may be worth checking what dates are in the SQL query that Crystal Reports sent to the database, see Server Status Tool Latest Queries

Hi,
Yes, as you said, there is a problem with Time Zone.To understand that it is caused by time, I followed the steps below.

The time period you entered into the Crystal Reports preview will be in UTC, but the time period you entered into ViewX will be in local time (UTC+03:00), so they are not the same time period, as they are in different time zones.
One option would be to create a Geo SCADA user account that displays times in UTC. That way the time period you enter into ViewX will be in UTC and not in local time, see Define the Regional Settings for a User

I deselected the date time part in Geoscada user settings. If the data type of the "Date" parameter in the crystal report is "date time", it displays the data in the desired time interval by geoscada. But if the data type of the "Date" parameter is selected as "date", Geoscada continues to show the data 1 day in advance. I couldn't upload the pictures directly here. I got an error. That's why I added the details of the subject to the word document. You can check it from there. I need to solve this problem. I request your support.

My guess is that when Crystal Reports converts the value of the parameter from a Microsoft COM variant containing a date/time (of type VT_DATE) to its special date-only parameter type that it discards the time part of the value, thus rounding it down.
Reviewing the SQL query generated by Crystal Reports (see earlier comment) may confirm its behaviour.
