How to Adjust Scaling for analog input using Ecostruxure Automation Expert

Hi, I have a problem to adjust scaling for analog input. Currently, my EAE connect with Modicon M251. I have Analog Input Module TM3AI8 that connect to plant. I got the line-line value at the plant which is 11kV, but in EAE software, i got different value.

Please help me on how to scale the value to ensure can read in HMI, based on site, minimum is 0kV and maximum is 11kV. The range I used in AI is 4...20mA.

Hi Alif,

To build on the other response, you will need to bring the raw value into the application using a SYMLINK and then process the analog value using either a one of the standard EAE library blocks such as the AiSignalScaling or AnalogueInput CATs or a custom library object.

If using one of the native EAE library components, you can set the scaling parameters using the faceplate as described in the answer from Mohamed, or using offline parameterization as he also mentioned:

Hopefully this helps.

James

Hi Alif,

You can configure the scaling either from the Offline parameter or the Faceplate parameter. In the Faceplate parameter, adjust the minimum raw value to 4 mA and the maximum raw value to 20 mA. Also, set the PV minimum to 0 kV and the PV maximum to 10 kV. Attached the Faceplate parameter for your reference.
