Hello to all
I'm developing some HMI using EOTE, and to increase my development time I'm trying to connect the simulator to my Modbus Server. It's a localhost connection. But I can't do this working. Is this possible? Or only using a device atached?

If your Modbus Server works with Modbus TCP it should work with 127.0.0.0 or local host. With which PLC do you want to connect? If your communication is Serial I don´t expecet that it will work.

Agree with Bastian, Simulator is not intended to be used with remote IO as for that you should use a Soft dPAC Windows or a Soft dPAC Linux.
On serial agree again Soft dPAC is not yet supported Modbus RTU but it will be supported by Essential Edge 2.0 coming very soon and later by other iPCs.

I'm developing a HMIST6600, and we will read modbus TCP from a custom device, we are developing this. But while I'm at development time, I wanna to use a modbus Slave emulator at PC, only to speed up the things
