Hello everyone,
I’m trying to establish communication between my existing SCADA application (developed with Citect SCADA 2018 R2) and an M251 dPAC recently added to the system.
Could anyone please guide me on the procedure to declare the I/O Device in Citect, which protocol should be used, and whether any documentation is available for this setup?
Also, what additional configuration or programming should be done on the M251 dPAC in Ecostruxure Automation Expert?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Ibrahim.
Citect 2018 R2 supports OPC UA, as does the M251. I would be tempted to set up the Citect as an OPC UA client and configure the M251 to suit.
Some guidance for the Citect:

And for the M251:

Hi,
There are a few ways to achieve this but what would be your preference? Are existing devices connected using OFS OPC, OPC UA or MODNET drivers?

Hi,
The existing devices are connected using OFS OPC (for M580 ) and Modnet30 for M221
