ATV dPAC display - What is it & How to remove it?

I noticed in v24 this new node "ATV dPAC display" in the solution explorer.
What is it for? I looked in the doc & release note, but didn't find any mention of it. Could you guide me?
I also can't do anything on the node (double click, right click, nothing is happening)
I would like to hide it for now as I can't interact with it but it's not in the menu to remove it (check the screenshot)

Thank you for your help

Hello,

you can find how to use it in the help. Not easy to find because for me not at the right place.

With ATVdisplay, you can create your own simple view for the Keypad on ATV. On this view you can read or write some datas directly from your application

Thank you for your help @jeromerives
I started to read a bit the doc and try it in the tool 👍

Things to address:

B/ In the doc, first screenshot is outdated. There is no option "Create New Application", it's "Create New Display".

C/ In the doc, first line of explantation

In ATV dPAC Displays tab

- I would say that it's more a "node in the Solution Explorer tree" not really a "tab".

D/ In the doc, first line of explantation

In ATV dPAC Displays tab, Right-click on your physical device (ATV9•• in this example)

- Under ATV dPAC Display node, it's not a list of "physical devices", but a list of "logical devices" of type "SE.DPAC.ATV_dPAC". I tried to add physical devices, tried many types, many options nothing was showing... Then did a tentative in logical devices, and it appeared! Great.
(I stop my experiment at this line of the doc)

E/ As you said, the doc it too hidden. It's great to have features coming with a lib. (It's actually a HUGE thing!!!). But right now, I get a node in the tool without the doc that is in another lib. Logical device type should maybe come from SE.IoXXX thing?!

A/ How to hide this node? (In my original question, I posted a sreenshot)

There is a great feature in EAE, beeing able to filter nodes to focus on some activities. I would like to be able to remove these new nodes!

@DP-JYC, you should be able to hide the ATV dPAC Displays node, by unselecting "Show Plugin Nodes", in the Display Filter.

We are working on UX and documentation improvements for EAE 24.1. In the meantime, we will circulate an internal How To document in the upcoming days, to help with the feature.

Thank you @HuguesQUEINNEC for your answer.
Even with unselecting "Show Plugin Nodes", I still see it in my version. It's maybe already fixed in 24.1? 👍

Perfect, it's going in the right direction 🥳
