Using PS-OPRIF version 11.6 and it is configured for COM1. After a few seconds, the error "C350 PORT is NOT FOUND" appears and OPRIF fails to reach the Connection screen.
The background program - ntvdm.exe - was prevented from starting up properly. It is likely missing from Task Manager.
Determine what is preventing ntvdm.exe from starting. Possibilities include:
- Anti-virus software
- Firewall or other security settings
- Lack of adequate RAM
- Conflict with another program accessing the same COM port
- Uninstall any recent Windows updates (June 2012)
