What is a Repeater Tap?
Resolution
This is a special purpose Tap with a single model in the series. The 7808 Repeater Tap extends a controller LAN's Segment distance, "T" connection distances, or extends the maximum number of devices allowed to connect on the controller LAN. Note: The 7808 Repeater Tap communicates only at 19200 baud. It will not work on a controller LAN that runs at 9600 baud. Refer to TCON 101, Model 7808 Repeater Tap
