What considerations should be given to I/NET Seven Promotion?

Cause
When Promoting or Demoting a File Master or Workstation you have to wait for the process to finish before closing out of the I/NET system. Below is a description of the area of the process that might cause you this problem.
Resolution
- Between the next to last "I/NET Seven Balloon" is displayed and the final "Balloon" is displayed is a long pause without any appearance of any "Balloons."
- Do not stop or close out of the I/NET Seven system; wait at least for 5 minutes to make sure the last "Balloon" is displayed.
- The File Master Icon, on the bottom task bar, should turn a cyan blue and then back to gray. This is a good signal that the SQL is finished updating.
