Cause
Requirement for some examples to see how Modbus RTU programs can be written to poll for the data in a 3rd party Modbus device.
Resolution
The attached example was written by an application engineer in the UK to extract data from the Schneider Electric PM700 and PM750 meters.
This example provides the mapping of data for these 2 specific meters, but the polling principle utilized in the Plain English programming can be applied to any Modbus RTU interface
