The spec sheet listed 24vdc as a supported power source but the installation manual instructs to use AC power source.

Resolution

No. It was originally intended to use both AC and DC but it was never UL-listed or FCC-tested as a DC device. The UNC-510 installation instructions (F-27033) clearly indicates the use of an AC power source.
