Issue
TAC Vista 5.1 installation hangs on installing Video Functions. CPU is at 100% and the installation will never finish.
Environment
Vista Installation
Cause
It seems like the MSI process for the Video components sometimes gets into a loop.
Resolution
- Start the installation and let it run until it “hangs"
- Go into Task Manager-Processes and end the process “msiexec” that is using all the CPU.
- The installation should proceed and everything should be installed correctly
