Issue
What is the difference between Single-pushbutton, dual-pushbutton and latched in a lighting zone?
Environment
- I/NET Seven
- Lighting Zone Controller
Cause
Programming lighting controls offers zone options for after hours override.
Resolution
-
Single-pushbutton is used when a momentary spring-loaded button is required.
- You push a button and a closed contact (1) is made.
- Releasing the button results in a open contact (0) and starts the zone.
-
Dual-pushbutton is a two button switch.
- Pressing one button gives you a closed contact (1).
- Pressing another button results in a closed contact (0) on the second input and the zone is turned off.
-
Latched is for when you have a light switch.
- Flip a switch and it stays on (1).
- Flip it the other way (0) and it turns off.
