Cause
Lon Values going into and out of default
Resolution
- Compare the IC-LON’s Receive heartbeat set in the “gateway.txt” file in the IC-LON controller, to the send heartbeat set in the controller.
The recommendation is for the receive heartbeat be set to 2-5 times the send heartbeat of the field controller.
Starting at 2 times, then increasing if the problem persists. - If the controller doesn’t have a heartbeat and the LON value rarely changes, disable the receiver heartbeat in the IC-LON’s gateway.txt file by setting the heartbeat to 0.
