Cause
The Building Manager (BM) is based on a zoned programming approach. Zones are groups of points in a system which control related equipment. A good example of a zone would be a group of points that control the lighting, heating and air conditioning for a tenant that occupies 1 floor in a multi-story building. The major function of the building manager is to give the tenant control over this equipment (through a user friendly telephone interface) and to be able to accumulate statistics to be used for billing normal and after-hours energy usage.
