Issue
Automation Servers are being connected to an IT managed network. The network requires that devices broadcast their MAC address in order to be added to the network switch. Automation Servers are not broadcasting their MAC address to the switch and cannot be added to the network

Cause
A stand alone AS-P server with a fixed IP address does not send out anything on the IP network.
Resolution
If you need the AS-P server to send out some traffic, you could define an NTP server that generates traffic when synchronizing the time.
