Issue

Are there any functional differences between the following part numbers?

• MNL-V1RVx vs. MNL-V1RVx-2
• MNL-V2RVx vs. MNL-V2RVx-2

Cause

The original part numbers MNL-V1RVx and MNL-V2RVx have been replaced with MNL-V1RVx-2 and MNL-V2RVx-2, respectively.
The datasheet F-26365 references the original part numbers (MNL-V1RVx and MNL-V2RVx).

Resolution

There are no functional differences between the original and updated part numbers. The addition of “-2” in the part number signifies a mechanical enhancement to the VAV actuator assembly.

This enhancement was made to reduce the operational noise level of the actuator, improving acoustic performance without altering functionality.
