JACE-645-R2 will not learn BACnet devices on its MSTP trunk and is spewing out the following message in the Application Director.

devctl rx frame failed: No error

Environment

G3 version 3.8.37

Cause

Issue with the platform drivers in G3 (3.8.37) that interface with R2.

Resolution

Install a clean distribution using 3.6.47 and commission with 3.6.406.
