Cause
Customer wants to know impact of adding GCMs to his Ethernet network.
Resolution
GCM NIM configuration information and general Ethernet networking information is in the "NIM Networking and Configuration Guide", F-25955-4. This document is available via the Publication Zone on iPortal.
Bulletin 96-42, provides answers to frequently asked questions regarding the GCM NIM communications.
NOTE: This information is based on the use of firmware version 11.2T in the GCM-NIM-001 interface.
